In September of 2006, Luke was awarded the Clinical Support Services Contract (CSSC) to provide medical services for the U.S. Air Force at Military Treatment Facilities (MTF) across the U.S. The CSSC is a 10 year, $1.96 Billion, multiple award task order contract awarded and managed by the Air Force Medical Commodity Council. Luke’s employees provide care for military personnel and their families at the 64 Air Force MTFs within the 50 states and Guam.
Luke is responsible for recruiting, qualifying, hiring and retaining healthcare workers for over 130 job titles. Positions include physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses and ancillary personnel in addition to all dental positions. Luke performs complete credentialing in accordance with Air Force and Department of Defense requirements. Credentialed/privileged positions must be filled within 90 days and non-privileged positions within 60 days.
Luke’s strong CSSC task order past performance is a major factor in the continuing award of additional task orders. As a result, Luke has continued to double the number of CSSC healthcare personnel annually.
